We are currently working with one of the leading manufacturer of high-efficiency thin-film solar modules with an opportunity for an Applications Engineer to support commercial solar project development. This organization approaches the market by selling modules through the traditional solar channels while also developing commercial projects. This Applications Engineer will support the project development team and be responsible for system design, site inspection and layout, string sizing and sales/customer support all the way through the commissioning of distributed generation projects. You will be an important member of the team responsible for helping to growth the North American market.
Desired Experience:
- 2-3 years of solar system design and development experience
- Engineering or strong technical background
- Experience using PVSYST, AutoCAD and other related systems
- Ability and desire to work in the field interacting with customers and supporting the sales organization
